Tiger Airways has announced that they will commence a new route from Adelaide to Hobart, the Gold Coast, Perth and Alice Springs, from the early part of 2009.
The airline stated that the new services would be on top of their new routes, which will commence between Adelaide and Melbourne.
Tiger will fly from Adelaide to Hobart four times every week, and run a daily service to the Gold Coast and the Western Australia capital city of Perth.
The company will also fly to Alice Springs three times each week.
Tickets should be priced from $49.95 to $99.95.
Shelley Roberts, Tiger Airways Australia Managing Director, indicated that the new domestic routes had been chosen by a national poll, to help establish which air routes would be popular with the flying public.
Two of Tiger Airways new A319 Airbuses will operate out of Adelaide and the company is to recruit cabin crew, support staff and pilots locally.
